Good morning and Happy Independence may we truly be Independent and emancipated from the Slavery of the mind. What is more important than this? If the mind is free. The physical will fall in place.

A mighty horse can easily be tied to “nothing” and yet remain immobile.

One of my greatest fears, confronted me in flesh and blood yesterday. A friend and university graduate actually insinuated a race is superior to the African and that’s me putting his assertions lightly.

Who has bewitched you? Who has bewitched this country?

I have come to conclude a lot of us even this my generation as educated as we seem are in a pitiable state of mind. Our minds have been beaten and battered into the shape society dictates, family dictates or just even friends.

If Nigeria will be great her youth must begin to stand like men and not bow to the mould handed to them. Reverence should be given whoever deserves such but do not be ashamed to take a stand where you should.

Do not follow in the steps of the past generation. If given the opportunity 80% of the young people I have met and interacted with say or imply they would probably be worse in that they would just loot the Treasury “smarter”. This only gives a bleak future. Unfortunately the future is now as I can already see some close to those positions and ready to implement their selfish ambitions.

Define your truths and define what’s falsehood for you, define your good and define your bad correlate this with what may be progressive you, family, friends and the country, choose to do the truth and the good. These areas of life (truth and good) are slippery, hold on to them like your life depends on it cause it actually does.

This cannot be over emphasized “Never be a Flag!!” You were born alone except you are a Siamese twin, even regular twins are alone, and except science out wits death soon you will die alone.. Know when to wield the spirit of comradeship and when to abandon ship.. Do not be pushed to follow leaders you do not understand their good and truths.

Be patriotic, loyal to family, stand with friends, protect your community.

A great Nigeria starts with you!

Its a Fight to finish, there is now a 24/7 PrAyer chain throughout NCCF all over the country … our fervent prayers will avail and weigh so much. Jos needs it Nigeria can’t do or stand together without, my prayer and your prayer; the senseless and reckless attitudes of even Nigerians is at its peak, agreed there is unrest everywhere all over the world, but let me shock you, in Nigeria here in Jos we now have CANNIBALS, I mean humans that eat humans in broad daylight, this was seen in the last crisis. We must pray that Gods will and kingdom be established first in our lives and that of Our Jerusalem. For the sake of our family and friends (this is scriptural) never say its not affecting me; the truth be said it affects and has an effect on each and every person on the face of the earth, because its a chain effect think about it: a friend of a friend of a friend of a family and so on it still comes back to you! The national papa is down health-wise and needs divine health and speedy recovery, the stress and strain is evidently on the other executives especially the general secretary. The enemy is outrightly foolish because he knows he can’t win yet he troubles the waters. We are more than conquerors through Jesus.

Woke up so late today, I was not too happy with Joshua, Niyi and Nasiru (other transcos) in the room, 🙂 they didn’t wake me up, like I would have if they overslept. Anyway, like the change I’ve come to notice in me, there was no resentment and no brooding over the matter. I couldn’t even explain the oversleeping even to myself not to talk of Publo (Joe) who rescued me from the clutches of sleep. I finished my #45 credit browsing not realising I’d been switched to the regular browsing plan, probably after Pat used it last night, therefore I had #0.0. The ladies (Bunmi, Tolu, Patricia) were called by National Uncle (Mattew) as I was in their room “bluetoothing” some messages from Tolu’s xpress music. As each of them was called and I realised they’d be gone probably for the whole day, I (unlike me anyway) thought for the first time how my day would be. I went to my room picked one of my books for july/august, the room extension, my phone charger and went to the sanctuary, I started charging my phone and turned on the TV and was hoping Hosana would have something for a already bored brother, it was still early oh! but I was already bored. I needed to make calls but browsing had ensured that wasn’t possible, unfortunately or fortunately for me, there was God’s back up plan; I went to the room to put the battery of my BB in it and on getting there decided to switch SIMs from airtel in the BB to the glo, I checked my wallet but didn’t find the Glo SIM, then I remembered I had placed it in the pocket of either of my khaki shirt or my only shirt (the white one). I checked both shirts and poof! Nothing!! It wasn’t there, well I gave up for a split second there. Nasiru decided to do a little cleanup of the room and since I didn’t deem it fit to start this although I noticed earlier it was needed, I joined. The first thing I did was to stack our jungle boots in a bucket, instead of where they were littered, and right there, there it was!! The SIM. I learnt a lil lesson there even when we’ve given up he uses our lil acts of “good boy” or goodness to cheer us up. Hope you see the lesson like I did. Anyway didn’t stop there as I was looking for the SIM in my wallet I found a recharge card I hadn’t used, left there like 2 days ago, totally forgotten but now very useful.

Thank God for being God. His love goes beyond our imagination. Right now I’m in the NCCF plateau state family house, like I’ve been anyway since leaving camp on the 26th of July. Went to the mountains behind the family house some days ago. Got a lesson impressed from the experience, when I was making my ascent alone, I just walked to the extreme of the range and saw a building with its new foundation on the rock, I went up the foundation and then from a distance I could hear the sound of rushing water I decided to go see the river. Climbing up was so tedious, my height and long legs was totally advantageous. Coming down on the other hand was so easy because while on the peak I sighted a woman and a girl in the plain between the ranges and quickly followed. I didn’t actually know how I was going to get down, I could only steep edges down and going the way I came was no option. Anyway, we went by a sort of path that lead straight down to the base. Moral: when we are guided anything is usually easier especially our walk with God when Guided by the Holy Spirit.

Good day 9ja, It has been an hectic day o. Still really busy now. Just popping something here.

I’m staying in Paymaster till the month’s end although my SIWES program is over, I should be able to get some personal things done within the time, in Lagos. Hopefully do a project or two. Make some some cash and get out of Lagos for sometime ‘cos I’ve got a feeling that Lagos its going to be… later on.
