Right now my mum and Dad should be in da air to wherever! Wishing you safe journey we are praying for you.
I had to travel to Osogbo on Friday, at the bus stop I received one of the most dis-heartening news of this year in my life and well I have decided to take a bold step about it no looking back. I’ll have to hurt somebody. I got to Osogbo quite late but I still met people at the cash office. I couldn’t get what I went for it was so frustrating because it was a call from Adams Kashif I received with the assurance that all was set that prompted my trip to Osogbo. Anyway I called my Dad he said I should give him the provost’s number, I had to get credit for that so sent it some minutes on.
Anywayz stayed the weekend as a result in Osogbo, had to buy petrol. Also finally decided to stay back in my hostel in stead of moving. Had time to really talk with friends (dare, becky). Told Tiwa Crew off, basically on idealogical and attitudinal differences, no hard feelings wish em good luck.
Finally got back to Ibadan on Tuesday morning then to Lagos same day I’ ll be resuming at work today and closing for the SIWES program tomorrow. Just finished

Thursday
Continued work on Vending solution
Friday
Started work on Bitel “screen” animation for paymaster products. This place has sort of sucked for the past two weeks. Nothing really to do. But time to work on my project research sha.
Went to Ikeja, To Taafoo, didn’t get the Belkin wireless adapter, they gave the excuse that I didn’t call to “claim” my
Please look at this took statements and please judge if there is no difference
1.Please Note: Prizes not claimed within 7 days of notification is automatically lost.
2. However, you are to call/mail for confirmation of prize won within 7 days of this notification else prize is automatically lost.
unwise people. just wasted owo ti o si nbe. God will judge
Anyway the second statement was from a corrected mail they sent after talking (or is it arguing) with them at there office. They sent the second mail to notify me that I had won another thing. Don’t even know if I have there time now.
Saturday
Had to go to chamscity. Supposed to take off like 8am and get there 9am o. Boy, David Woke up at about 15mins to 10, you can’t blame now. I only get to sleep on Saturdays. Its virtually like I compulsorily sleep-walk during the week. Anywayz got to chamscity very late. I ate in the resturant there the result I had to deal with about 6hrs later, t’was terrrrible.
After the whole SIM REG demo data capture, we all dispersed (paymaster pips). Other Chams subsidiaries came with their own data capture solution.
From there I went to IB. Its was so boring, No light bla…bla… I just decided to sleeeeeeeeeeeep. Woke up when my sisters and mum back (Dad on another trip Abuja this time)

Worked at a Petrol Station First then left to his parent’s house (at Alarere) Stayed and worked in the car. From there went to the Tantalizers at Iwo-road an worked till a few mins to 9. Took off to Lag arnd that time (called to Stay with my cuz at Ibafo).

You know the state of the mind sometimes is what prevents us from having a diary. Why did I say that? Well it wasn’t like I wasn’t online almost throughtout last week, but my situation and environment where not so encouraging. No money, blame it on … nobody! not even myself. Tough to understand.
I really had time to think this weekend. What is a jobless, sleeper-waker movie watcher to do. One of my most striking thoughts, really stuck, “if you are bothered by abnormalies in life then you definitely suffer”. You would probably ask why, this is probably similar to my favourite original and shortest quote “… never be surprised”. Yoruba people say “… ti a ba ti ku, ani ye ma ri” wish I could accentuate that.Humans are embidiment of Abnormalies. But specfically, Nigerians are the best Abnormalies. Abnormaly NO 1: Behaviourial abnormalies: We are under so much stress yet we stand tall. Our elasticity is so unique, Yield, surrender is not in a true Nigerians lexicon. I was the other day looking at the high-risings in lagos, particularly the 1004 estate. I was like if it was elsewhere only God knows how many people would have jumped off this building. Imagine walking on the street of any typical Nigerian city. You suddenly see two people fighting or lets even say arguing right on the express causing hold-up for another 5km behind them, some further enquries later, you find out they are arguing about the most stupid thing… thats behaviourally Ok like that is not enough look at this awon agbalagba ara ti wo n ja on TV and these are our leaders o.
The internet is another way where you can actually see people express this human-nature-born abnormaly. its just there in us. I saw one guy (a white) crying profusely (actually laughing) about Nigerians leaving one guy(can’t remember his name) in the National team that fumbled alone, that we are lucky he evn played for us. By the time I finished watching the video all I could say is God is just great. The same God that made other people is the same that created this one o. He is like the best programmer u know?
Looking more generally now, going to the hospital probably will widen your horizon on what I mean by abnormalies.
Wednesday:
Got so late to work, I was queried. Anyway for now, informally by Mrs. Ifueko. I hope it doesn’t get formal anytime soon. Although it quiet unsual of me anyway. I normally would be in the Office by 7am (like this morning) although we are supposed to resume by 9am. I like my workplace (probably not my work). I like the people there. But the work not so thrilling for me no offence to anyone but. Thats just how it is.
Thursday:
Installed Antiviruses for all the desktop systems in Paymaster.
Friday:
Started work on a “simulation” interface kinda stuff for the vending solution using flash. To illustrate how the flow of the solution should be like.

Monday: 21-06-2010
Yippie, Computer Science has been accreditted in Osun State University
Was in school, met Dr. Akanbi, discussed about my Siwes. Didn’t know then that our department had been accredited, so didn’t congratulate him. Went to see Mr. Abokede about letter for University scholar said it wasn’t with him so on my way to see Mr. Shittu I went to the departmental office and was told the letter was with em. Got the letter. Saw Mr. Omtoso as I was about leaving, we discussed about my project topic, he said I should go and rese…
Tuesday: 22-06-2010.
Just came into Lagos, Got a text from Meridian Technologies about result of scholarship test. It wasn’t like I’m not a proud citizen of Nigeria but I’m not a fan of the National team AT ALL. All their failures I virtually saw ahead, Anyway they should be on their way to their fathers and mothers compounds wherever that maybe back in NIGERIA.
At almost COB called Meridian Tech. If I could come over, Bimbo said I should got there and received the shock of my life 3points=#52,000. Ok, let me explain that, on the test I had 87% and missed the full scholarship (90%) by 3 marks, but I still could get 80% scholarship of the course I entered for (MCPD- Windows and Web: #260, 000). So now you get that? by just going off 3 marks, I went from totally free to #52k. I have to accept with another 5k by Friday. Hope God provides before then sha.

Got to work so early today (6:30 something) left the house like 5:3o though. The bike I got at the Estate gate wanted 3h, agreed and we went on for a large part of the journey then it happened, his tire, I said sorry and off I was to get another bike for 2h. Lucky me, actually forgot to say thanks for the free ride to the first guy.
