I will survive…

You know the state of the mind sometimes is what prevents us from having a diary. Why did I say that? Well it wasn’t like I wasn’t online almost throughtout last week, but my situation and environment where not so encouraging. No money, blame it on … nobody! not even myself. Tough to understand.

I really had time to think this weekend. What is a jobless, sleeper-waker movie watcher to do. One of my most striking thoughts, really stuck, “if you are bothered by abnormalies in life then you definitely suffer”. You would probably ask why, this is probably similar to my favourite original and shortest quote “… never be surprised”. Yoruba people say “… ti a ba ti ku, ani ye ma ri” wish I could accentuate that.Humans are embidiment of Abnormalies. But specfically, Nigerians are the best Abnormalies. Abnormaly NO 1: Behaviourial abnormalies: We are under so much stress yet we stand tall. Our elasticity is so unique, Yield, surrender is not in a true Nigerians lexicon. I was the other day looking at the high-risings in lagos, particularly the 1004 estate. I was like if it was elsewhere only God knows how many people would have jumped off this building. Imagine walking on the street of any typical Nigerian city. You suddenly see two people fighting or lets even say arguing right on the express causing hold-up for another 5km behind them, some further enquries later, you find out they are arguing about the most stupid thing… thats behaviourally Ok like that is not enough look at this awon agbalagba ara ti wo n ja on TV and these are our leaders o.

The internet is another way where you can actually see people express this human-nature-born abnormaly. its just there in us. I saw one guy (a white) crying profusely (actually laughing) about Nigerians leaving one guy(can’t remember his name) in the National team that fumbled alone, that we are lucky he evn played for us. By the time I finished watching the video all I could say is God is just great. The same God that made other people is the same that created this one o. He is like the best programmer u know?

Looking more generally now, going to the hospital probably will widen your horizon on what I mean by abnormalies.

Wednesday:

Got so late to work, I was queried. Anyway for now, informally by Mrs. Ifueko. I hope it doesn’t get formal anytime soon. Although it quiet unsual of me anyway. I normally would be in the Office by 7am (like this morning) although we are supposed to resume by 9am. I like my workplace (probably not my work). I like the people there. But the work not so thrilling for me no offence to anyone but. Thats just how it is.

Thursday:

Installed Antiviruses for all the desktop systems in Paymaster.

Friday:

Started work on a “simulation” interface kinda stuff for the vending solution using flash. To illustrate how the flow of the solution should be like.
