When I was doing SAT tutorials some years (like 3 years now), we had to write essays and the topics were really required critical thinking. They were correct  (making-senses) topics. One that really caught my attention went somehow like this  “The flaws we so despise in others are probably our greatest flaws” seemingly controversial in nature, but looking critically and not too far I realised that it is quite true. The reasons why some friends fight, why husbands and  wives fight, sons and fathers, brothers, sisters. I am saying this from experience both personal and third-person scenarios. This lead to the title of this post, FORGIVENESS… hmmmn. You know, the bible says something about this “… forgive us our trespasses AS we forgive those who trespass against us..” Well this is easy to say, in reality (when you are in the hot seat), when you are the offended, it isn’t easy. Now, what I am actually driving at is this:

1. Having it in mind that sometimes the things we do not want to forgive, we either have in one way or the other being forgiven ourselves at one time or the other (before the reference event) or might need forgiveness for such in the future (you probably will say never, I can never do what she/he did), does this or can this help in the hastening the process of forgiveness and isn’t it just a not-so-good reason to forgive

2. Forgiveness isn’t easy but, we just must if we ultimately want to be forgiven.

Good day 9ja, It has been an hectic day o. Still really busy now. Just popping something here.

I’m staying in Paymaster till the month’s end although my SIWES program is over, I should be able to get some personal things done within the time, in Lagos. Hopefully do a project or two. Make some some cash and get out of Lagos for sometime ‘cos I’ve got a feeling that Lagos its going to be… later on.

Today (15-07-2010) Its like I am not leaving paymaster oh! Work work work. Anyway I wanted to submit an internal memo that I’d be leaving (to the HRM), she said I should just wait till end of the month. When she suggested it to my department’s head, the guy too said ok.

Taught Mrs. Felicia some rudimentaries in Adobe Flash CS5. I had a funny discussion with Miss Felicia about, ladies and wearing trousers, alcohol, all as related to Scripture Union, she is a finer Christian in way than most around but she can be argumentative, she has her point sometimes though.

Yesterday (14-07-2010)  was so hectic, had go to to NuGrotto to work on the DB of the solution, the solution was just ma sorikori, if you know what I mean. Mr. Ayo and I spent like 4hours or so there, trying all sorts, finally we handed-over something. In my opinion that is not the last time paymaster would have to visit that place for issues like this. The solution actually now makes a lot of sense to me. Then, got the office, then Adesua, asked to help her with a little work. Hope to complete that this morning. Mr. Aladekomo sent a reply to my mail/Report, content shows a promising …

Targets for today:

End of Program form

Route+

Scripture Union Proposal

SIWES report for school (Start)

SIWES presentation (Start)

Right now my mum and Dad should be in da air to wherever! Wishing you safe journey we are praying for you.

I had to travel to Osogbo on Friday, at the bus stop I received one of the most dis-heartening news of this year in my life and well I have decided to take a bold step about it no looking back. I’ll have to hurt somebody. I got to Osogbo quite late but I still met people at the cash office. I couldn’t get what I went for it was so frustrating because it was a call from Adams Kashif I received with the assurance that all was set that prompted my trip to Osogbo. Anyway I called my Dad he said I should give him the provost’s number, I had to get credit for that so sent it some minutes on.

Anywayz stayed the weekend as a result in Osogbo, had to buy petrol. Also finally decided to stay back in my hostel in stead of moving. Had time to really talk   with friends (dare, becky). Told Tiwa Crew off, basically on idealogical and attitudinal differences, no hard feelings wish em good luck.

Finally got back to Ibadan on Tuesday morning then to Lagos same day I’ ll be resuming at work today and closing for the SIWES program tomorrow. Just finished

Today is special, sure everyday is special, but today stands out for me I hope this surge in  and thoughts ideas is not temporary. Rounding-off things in PayMaster. Mr. Aladekomo is expecting a report on experience (God help me hope I don’t step on toes)  Kashif called with some good news and so I should be on my way to Osogbo early tomorrow. Although I hope to attend TEDxVictoriaIsland at Muson Centre before I leave tomorrow.

I just added a new page to my blog {My Life!}. you might want to check it out:

An excerpt: (A paragraph)

“My Mum once wanted to work on our extended family (Afolayan) history, don’t know if she is still working it. In my third year I got really interested in Artificial intelligence and based on my belief that what we see with our eyes and processed/unprocessed by our brain is NEVER lost only forgotten or left in a part of our brain that if we tried to hard to remember we could bleed out like Michael Scoffield (in Prison Break) LoL, I thought of doing my project on building a Biological/Artificially Intelligent System that when connected to an human being can go back in time and produce videos or graphics of some sort that shows the persons life experience. Things holding me back are basically my beliefs about technology not sure about some of this though for example, human knowledge about artificial intelligence hasn’t gotten to that extent, then how will the systems be able to treat dreams. Does human technology have the storage medium with capaciity for the resulting video/graphics. This is a little of my thoughts on the project. So you can probably see  the more reason why I am doing this. I am fascinated by personal human experience and history!…”
